Steps to pass your Hubspot testing.
It may seem overwhelming when you first sit down to test in Hubspot. And my first few test taught me a lot about how this company gives you everything you need to pass that test.
Take the steps to prepare yourself.
Make sure you have a good place to study and anything you may need to help you focus. I know that I need coffee and water on my desk, and a good pen and notepad to jot down thoughts or questions. I also run a diffuser with oils that help me to focus.
Next, gather your study tools:
- Study Guide – use to focus your learning
- Transcripts – to reinforce what you are hearing
- Slides – to remind you of key content
Schedule time in your calendar to study. Be strategic in how you study for your certification. Each certification will tell you how long each section should take to watch. Did you know you can increase the speed at which you watch!
Perhaps you want to take a day to just dig in and learn a new piece of Hubspot, or you can just set aside a couple of hours at a time. Do what works for you.

- Turn off your phone
- Turn off your desktop notifications
- Close your door
After you have removed all distractions, grabbed your coffee/water and have your notes in hand, take a deep breath and dive in.
It may seem daunting but you have everything you need. They don’t ask trick questions that were nowhere in the course. They don’t ask you questions that they did not provide you with all the information to answer.
